Aquila '93 Publishing was founded in 1993 in Oradea, a true Romania 's Western Gate, a nice city that still preserves the scent and charm of the baroque architecture.

 

Although specialized in publishing illustrated books, we have widened lately our offer, so that at present we produce both illustrated and non-illustrated books, fiction and non-fiction, wall maps, board books, pop-ups or school charts.

 

Very experienced at working in international co-editions, every year we publish illustrated international best sellers in exquisite graphic presentation, top-quality hard backs. We collaborate with renowned publishers and agents worldwide.

 

Apart from the illustrated editions (which include both children's and adults' books, such as encyclopedias, atlases, fairy tales, albums, travel guides, general reference titles, hobby, gardening, interior design, gastronomy etc.), we also publish non-illustrated titles, most of which are grouped into major collections, such as fiction, history, religion & mythology, secret organizations, etc. Within the past few years we started a whole new range of wall maps and school charts, created mainly for the Romanian schools.
